Well I'm female and married and I can honestly say hand on my heart that I don't ogle other men. I live my husband with all that I am that no one else is worth looking at. So I would not go as far as to say it's rubbish. It's just women are different creatures to men and we don't have anything to prove and invest our whole self into our relationships. Why look or fantasise about someone else when you already have the best.
