Is it normal to feel emotions more subtly as an adult?

I remember as a teenager, when I was happy it felt like I won the lottery. When I was sad, it felt like I lost a loved one. When I was angry, it felt like I couldn’t contain myself. Now that I’m in my mid 20s, I still feel emotions but they’re much more tame. Sometimes I miss how an A on a weekly math quiz would feel like getting a major promotion at work. At the same time, I’m glad feeling sad or angry doesn’t affect me as badly. However, is this normal or does this sound like some mental illness like depression?

I also feel less intense emotions as an adult than I did as a teen

This happened to me when I stopped smoking weed. My emotions got more tame.
