Men are supposed to give compliments, just say 'thank you' and give him a wee kiss on the cheek.
Don't tell him wonderful things about himself or he will start to believe them and turn into an arrogant shit, maybe dumping you coz he thinks he deserves a top model.
I don't believe in this insincere crap.
Just say what you want, when you want - keep him guessing coz it will make you more intriguing :o)
That is soooo true! My friend dated this guy who is a 5 and shes atleast an 8. She's a good girl, is smart and pretty and fell in love with him because she said he was the typical nice guy. She treated him VERY well and he was sweet at first but then she started crying to me about how mean he was becoming. She would give him ALL her attention and compliments and affection and spend her money on him and then he started treating her like trash, going to bars and lieing to her while she would be at home waiting for "the love of her life" to come home.
They've been together for almost a year and the other day she told me how they were taking a break because he told her that he "wanted to go out and experience the single life and he isnt sure if he wants to stay with her."
This guy was a virgin who had never had a girl friend, had never even gotten a blowjob before her and now he thinks he can go out and get any girl he wants. It's going to be a rude awakening when he goes out in the dateing world and realizes what he can ACTUALLY get. I feel terrible for my bff :(
I've seen this oh so many times when the girl builds up a man's ego and heard some awful stories. One of my good friends actually attempted suicide after being treated so badly by a guy who was a 1 - if he was lucky!! She too was gorgeous.
They don't need compliments. They should feel lucky that you spend your valuable time with them.
People like you is why I hate a lot of women. God, if he's the right guy, he won't just turn arrogant. Women always have to put men under the same label, don't they. Every time I hear the saying: "men are all the same" I wanna hurt someone.
Is it normal to feel awkward when saying sweet things?

Of course he's wanted .... she's giving him her time, isn't she?
That should be enough for him - he should be grateful ;o)

My question is how old is/was this guy?

Damn, that's sexist.
