Yeah, you're going to want to work on that. And i think you guessed right, he probably wants to feel loved too. It can be discouraging to feel you've invested time, energy, and your emotions in somebody, who for all you know, couldn't care less. He needs validation that he's appreciated in the relationship. Explain your reluctance and assure him he's the one for you.
