The only reason I ask is because every time I talk to my girlfriend I feel very awkward when I talk.

      I'm a 17 year old and the reason why I feel awkward while talking is because I sometimes pause when I'm talking.

        That’s normal, especially at your age. She clearly likes you or she wouldn’t be your girlfriend, I doubt she minds the occasional pause.

    I feel awkward with everyone but if i'm dating someone I get past feeling awkward with them after a few weeks. Takes longer to get 100% comfortable to be fully myself but I stop feeling awkward pretty quickly if we actually have a connection. I don't think you're supposed to feel awkward all the time with someone you have a connection with.
