Is it normal to feel anxious and hot around my crush?

I have a crush at the cafe that I work at. He’s charming and nice to all of the coworkers. We sometimes have shifts at the same time, but when we’re working together I get anxious and my face feels really hot. My hands get clammy and shaky. I feel really self-concious about this, and I wonder if he notices my symptoms at all. I wonder if this is just me or if other people experience the same symptoms that I do when around someone that I have a crush on.

    perfectly normal! can't tell you how many times i've been the exact same,and STILL am!! Just do try to hide it( i know... IMPOSSIBLE right!),as it will scare a guy off quick! Good luck

    Fully normal. Back when I was in school I turned into an absolute mess around my crush. Hot fave, sweaty palms, not knowing what to say, all the usual stuff... I was always kinda shy and anxious as a kid and teenager. Then I found out she was also shy and very self conscious, step by step we got closer and finally became boyfriend girlfriend. That was my first relationship and a massive ego booster of teenage life.

    Even tho I became much more confident and direct as time went on, I always got nervous when asking out a girl I like. A glass of whiskey helps me relax, so before first dates, I'd down a glass at home, brush my teeth and then go out.

    It was only when I met my current girlfriend, that I was completely chill, chatty outgoing and playfuly flirty without any anxious thoughts. But then again we did meet at a student party I was invited to by a mate and had had several strong drinks prior to the party XD
