Is it normal to feel amazed about life?

For many times I've come across situations so amazing that I now truly believe things happen for a reason. Also because of that, I am no longer an atheist.

Last year there was a new guy in my class in uni, he sat next to me on the first day, and he tried dating me the first week. We remained friends and worked together for projects. He called and texted me at weird times, and even hugged me sometimes. Although I never made it to his dates, I got interested in him in a totally innocent way. One day I got very stressed, so I went out for an ice cream. That place wasn't near to my uni at all, but that's what happened. Through the window, I saw him walking down the street, holding a girl's hand. From that onwards, I distanced myself from him. That time I felt like someone (god?) was purposely letting me see something about that guy. I mean, why was the timing so accurate? If I went an hour earlier or later, I would have missed that scene. I felt so blessed that I didn't get too deep with him.

There was also another time I worked in a shop, but there was a power cut so we lit candles. I burned my hair by accident. It was so embarrassing because EVERYBODY laughed. Two days later, I met a trainee hairstylist on the street. He approached me to give me a free haircut because he needed to practice his skills on somebody. I never looked so good in a boy-short haircut (coz he had to cut off the burnt bits). That year he gave me another two free hair cuts. Wasn't that amazing again? It was as if someone (god?) felt sorry for me so he arranged that to happen.

Ok, I have more stories but this should be enough. Is it normal to feel that way? Do you have similar experiences? Can you share them below? Thanks for reading.

My advice to you, and I am being sincere...

Don't base your faith in God by whether or not good things happen to you. Life is an interesting thing and if your faith in God is contingent on your prosperity then if that plane of yours ever starts losing altitude, your world and your faith in God could easily be turned on it's head.

Personally, I am a religious person and I have my own beliefs but I have understood for many years that along with free agency comes having to live with the actions of ourselves and others. It's good that you have faith and I am almost willing to bet cash that I will have many thumbs down and negative comments for saying anything other than "god is a joke", but I say good for you.

Sometimes we need to recognize the small blessings in life that many often take for granted. It has brought me much happiness and I implore anyone, of any spiritual orientation to be grateful and happy for even the smallest things.

There is no fate or destiny the stars don't align to make your life easier, life revolves around timing, choices, and coincidence.

Personally, I wouldn't call those experiences really amazing, or at least amazing enough to believe in God. However, I have had some interesting experiences myself, and they have made me wonder if God is looking out for me, but I think it's just my guardian angel. I'd say you're normal.
