I buried it down instead of dealing with it, dwelling on it. I managed to come to terms with it all recently but it took years and a big breakdown for that to happen. No two people are the same so I wouldn't try and guess how he's going to feel about it or when or if he might change. Just do your best and hopefully he'll come around.
is it normal to feel afraid about him not accepting his son?
