Is it normal to feel a sense of calm in these trying times?

In spite of what is happening all around us now with the pandemic and all, I was wondering if it is normal to feel a sense of calm amidst all the panic and unhappiness. I've been practicing Radical Acceptance and mindfulness and I think that helps but sometimes I feel a little guilty when I know of all the unrest and unhappiness around.

I can be rather introverted, and even downright reclusive. I just feel weird knowing that the rest of the world is being forced into the seclusion that I seem to have chosen for myself the past couple of years.

Things are more calm since there are not as many people out.

Stuff like the sky falling is a regular occurrence but we always get through it so there isn't much need to freak out again.

I feel annoyance about the “rules” and laws it’s imposing on people. But other than that I couldn’t give any less of a shit about what’s going on.

I've gotten to the point to where I don't panic about much anymore. I don't know what it is or why, but I guess I've been through enough in life that not much fazes me anymore.
