Like Tayler said, she wasn't trying to insult you. She was trying to sympathize with you. Your friend was only trying to assure you that it's okay that your son acted out.
I can tell you right now, nobody's judging you or your child for something that is beyond either of your control. You might get some ignorant people here and there, but they're the minority. Most people just feel like it's gotta be difficult for the two of you.
