Is it normal to feel 5'9' is short for grown man

Forget about the self-reported BS. Guys always exaggerate in those. I only trust statistics where researchers/statisticians themselves do the measuring.

Now as to 'feeling' short, well it depends on whom you're around. If you're around taller people, you'll feel short; if you're around shorter ones, you'll feel tall. In the same way if you're around very smart people you'll feel dumb, and if you're around dumb people you'll feel smart. Spend more time around Asians, I guess?

5'9" is not short by any means.

I think your height is average height for a man. Not tall but also not short.

Hey, look at it this way. When you get older, you will actually shrink a bit. So when that happens you can say, "I used to be 5'9" tall."

It is all relative. It isn't the size of the weapon that counts, but the fury of the attack.

5'9" is average for an adult male. DOn't let the media fool you or a lack of worthy. Soap operas are really good at that believing all men should be over 6' tall. RIdiculous when genetics play a big role in height versus media nonsense. If some women don't like you because you are 5'9", tell her to get bent.

It's slightly shorter than average for the current young generation (5'11 is average for millennial men). On older generations, even when they were younger, 5'9 was average.

It's not like SHORT, it's a decent height. I'm 5'4, now that's short.

im now six foot five , i was down to 6 foot two down from six foot three. bad thing was my feet grew to size 14. now its impossible to find footwear. It was because i started a strict paleo diet. google says its because of improved nutrition. Im 61 year old. eye sight went from -1.25 to a +.25 My dad was the first to notice. but when i grew into new shoes i broke out the tape measure.

5’10” is the average height of a white man. In shoes you probably hit that, but the NBA won’t be calling you anytime soon.
On the other hand you’re taller than anyone shorter than you.
