I have yet to face it, and I still run for my life when the commercial comes on. Toy aisles are the danger zones, and if I lay eyes on it from a distance, I have to plan carefully what I want to do - Should I go somewhere else? Do I really need to go in there? If so, is there a way I can make it to where I can't see it?
As a kid, it didn't matter how good of a time you were having; if you take that game out, I'm going into a full-blown panic. Period. The idea that we actually owned the game was terrible. Nowadays, I avoid it whenever possible, although I don't think I'm as consumed by it as before.
