Is it normal to fear having sex?

Is is normal that the thought of having sex terrifies me? I am very sensitive down there so I'm really worried it's going to hurt, and- to be honest, I'm dreading it.
Am I just over-exaggerating? Or is it unenjoyable the first time? Help!

It's fine, just make sure your partner is understanding and be cautious.

I think the Op is a virgin girl so I think she's fearing the pain that comes with having your first time.

If I don't get enough fiber I fear the porcelain throne of doom! Extreme constipation is like being violated by one's own stool.

No, it's not normal to be afraid of sex. Sex is nice and good and enjoyable, even the first time. Just do it and you'll see that I'm right.

Just don't do it with a guy that will pound the kitty without a fuck in the world. You need to have someone actually caring for your pleasure and comfort ability. You will bleed and it will hurt but having someone caring will make a difference. You'll enjoy it eventually, sex is one of the greatest things in life.

How many of you guys who are answeing this are willing to be gentle with a girl who is having sex for the first time? What are things you would do to make it more comfortable for her? That may make the OP feel better to know.

I'll be honest with you. If you're a women then losing your virginity is never going to be an orgasmic experience. It's normal for it to feel uncomfortable and you may bleed. I did. My first time, but I

Totally normal! Once you're ready and you find the right person you won't feel as scared. I was terrified before I lost my virginity but when it happened I wasn't scared, it was very tender and loving and although it hurt it was no where near as bad as I thought it would be. Just make sure you don't go straight in to full sex, start with lots of kissing and foreplay. Sex is a wonderful thing, especially when you're in love. Good luck!

Well, you don't HAVE to have sex, there is law stating that you do, but I think everyone fears their first time, and from what I've heard, the first is never really good, it takes practice.

I'm guessing that you want to have sex, so all I can say is that it's best if you have a understanding partner, tell them to be gentle and to take it slow, using lubricant can also help make things easier, and of course protection.

Then don't have it yet. You don't sound like you're ready anyway and if you're ready you probably shouldn't be considering it anytime soon.

But to answer your question, sex for the first time can be painful or enjoyable..or both. It depends.

Don't rush into anything. It's your body so do it in your own time.

It's normal. That's why trusting your partner is important. It might or might not be enjoyable the first time, it really depends on the individual person. Use lots of lube and foreplay.

I was so scared too :p I was scared I wouldn't do alright, i would cry because it would hurt and that it just wouldn't go well. so yeah it's normal for me because i felt exactly the same. it wasn't that bad, it didn't really hurt and i wasn't that nervous, i guess when you are about to have sex it's with a person you like so you're gonna be feeling different!!
honestly i know a few people who didn't enjoy their first time because it hurt too much. i did bleed down there but the pain wasn't unbearable at all, it was alright :* just don't worryyyyy it will be alright <3

Get a patient and kind lover who will take the time to get you really horny so that your own lust will camouflafe any pain. Trust me, it is worth it in the long run. We are all sexual beings and the sooner you get started the sooner you will enjoy the myriad of pleasures that cum from good sex.

Yes it is normal (and is a common misconception especially among males). Females usually do not enjoy their first sexual intercourse experiences (sometimes quite painful, disturbing and / or uncomfortable), and many females require at least three sexual sessions before they begin to enjoy sexual intercourse.

Just get it over and done with, sooner rather than later is better, when you know that you're ready.
