Is it normal to fear death even if you're suicidal?

In my opinion, it suggests you might not actually want to die, you want the pain to stop or whatever is going on in your life to change. Do correct me if I'm completely wrong, I have not yet mastered telepathy.

u might fear death because you are unsure of what happens or where do you go after death. Get to know people dear, go into places, discover different pizza variants,get a dog or a cat or you might be loosing enthusiasm in everything but just so you know, just as how flies and even the grossest thing on earth have purpose, so are you.

Normal. When I was suicidal I didn't really want death, I just wanted the pain to stop and felt that was the only way out. (Note that I said "when". As cliched as it is, it really does get better. Hang in there!)

I think that people who think like that are serious about offing themselves but then doubt creeps and they wonder if they postpone it things might get better. Or they are scared of "the other side". What about the pain factor. I am sure they would want a quick and painless exit but what if something went wrong? There are many reasons. But taking your own life is not the answer. What about the people that love you? What about the guilt others would feel? Would they think if only I knew I could have helped. Was it because if me? You may be successful but you would mentally scar a lot of people.

Get help please! You life IS worth something. What about the person who is dying? They would likely trade places with you in a heart beat to continue living.
