Is it normal to fantasize about criminality?
Everyday I come home and daydream about breaking into homes, stealing things, setting things on fire, etc. Never committed a crime in my life, but I have an admiration for criminals.

Could it be that you are a closet adrenaline junkie?
There are plenty of ways to get your blood pumping without the option of prison.
Come out of the closet and try something really crazy, like jumping out of a plane (with a chute if you want to do it more than once) that isn't crashing. That should do it.
At 20, I came very close to spending the rest of my life in prison. That didn't really appeal to me all that much, so I took a different path, and I've never regretted it.
On second thought, perhaps it's the "three hots and a cot" that appeals to you? No worries about feeding yourself or where you'll live and how you'll pay for it all. Probably a choice you will regret, though. But, to each, his/her own.
Play GTA. There you play as a criminal and you are a cool criminal.
But in real life, I hate common thugs. Bastard can't make money with his head, so he goes and steals an elderly lady's BMW.... Real manly!
If a thug breaks into my house, I would shoot them with a hunting rifle. Not killing them offcourse. I don't want murder on my hands. But if I do have to kill the thug, I would.
Now if we talk about the big-money criminals. The ones who drain billions from corporations and get away without a trace. That takes skill. It's not right, but they do it with intelligence and skill. I do have some respect for those.
