There's a thin line between love & hate.

Hate and love are very similar. Both are very strong feelings toward a certain person, and it is easy to switch between them. The opposite happens often enough. When you are hurt by someone you love, you can easily come to hate him/her.

This is very normal. A good example I can give you is that there are a lot of people out there who are into " Master and Slave " role-playing during sex. The person playing the part of the Master would demand and force the person playing the part of the Slave to perform sexual acts on them while they're getting belittled.

Many men/women out there find the idea of getting treated badly and talked down to by a " superior " individual a tremendous sexual turn-on.

Just a note that this is an example of the attraction phenomenon that men exploit. They act like total jerks with a sense of humor. They don't give a damn. They are the ones that get laid. Nice guys are scoffed at by almost all women.

Hate is not the opposite of love. Indifference is. You should seriously think about why you have such strong feelings towards this man.
