i grew up in a family some distance away from my mother, anyway one thing led to another and i moved in with my mother at 13. i didnt have a clue my family was so big around the area, infact i didnt know i had any!.
i met this girl and we started talking and stuff and i really liked her, like turned to love in a short time. we kept talking for a month or so then found out her dad was my cousin. we kinda didnt change much and held it behind there back and to this day they have threatened us to not be anything else but friends. im confused, we have had sex multiple times (thats what you do when your in love) i never want to let her go. i love her.

    Second cousin, that's grand. Even first cousin, though maybe slightly creepy to some, is not in any way strange or unnatural. You have nothing to feel strange about.

    It's legal to marry your second cousin so yeah, nothing too weird.

    Second cousin's don't matter. As long as you are happy and she is happy thats all that matters. You wont have the same DNA. So kids wont be a problem. I think you shouldn't hide your feelings from your parents. I think everyone has a right to know. Do you make it public?

    I can understand why your family is uncomfortable. Can't you? Of course you do. That discomfort you feel? It is called a conscious. And don't pretend that just because you didn't know/grow up with them that makes any difference.

    Sounds like you are only teens. I think you need to make girlfriends outside the family tree.

    Things like that happen more than you think in small towns. My boyfriend's ex girlfriend actually left him for her cousin. But y'all are second cousins and you've already had sex. However, is this relationship worth the tension it's going to put on your family?
