Is it normal to experience rude people on dating apps?

Today I went on a dating app and I had the displeasure of meeting this one woman who had all these bullshit boundaries saying that I need to respect them, she kept spamming me with way too many questions and not just that she went on to saying that I didn't initiate the date essentially blaming stuff on me more onto that she also tells me to go get lost after telling her I'm not going to date someone who has a snobby attitude.

I didn't want to keep the conversation going so I had to nope my way out of there and reject her.

Why would I or anyone date anyone who is super rude and condescending?

Never in my life have I ever met someone who can be so rude.

Dating apps are LITTERED with women who have rules for the average man that they'll break for Deontay Wilder types.

Your best bet to find love is to meet a girl at a festival or some shit, and even then you can't make it obvious that you're trying to date. You have to find common interests, otherwise you come off as a creep.

    • I'll probably stick to meeting in real life, for now I'll just delete the dating app.

Personal advice from someone who spent lots of time on dating sites - and did in fact meet my wife on one.

ONLY deal with sites that require both the men and woman to pay the same fee to join, and ONLY deal with sites where the fees start at $250 to join or higher. That's where I met my wife at. Totally different experience - and totally different contacts from that site compared to all the free or low cost dating sites.

That gets rid of virtually all the riff raff and leaves you only dealing with serious prospects and of course the scammers that are good enough to be able to make a living off such a site after paying the high fees.

It's easy to screen out the scammers: Just end any relationship immediately if they ask for money unless you have been meeting them in person for months, been to their place many times, and know of their exact living situation. Sob stories are just stories. I've lost money in some initially, then I learned to screen them. My car needs work and I need $$$. OK, whats wrong and were are the nearest service shop that's good at that work. I then arranged with that shop (several times) to do the work and charge my CC (the Lady would not have to pay a thing). I got cursed out many times for that... and not a single one of them took their car in for repairs. I can tell you similar house repair stories, and other things as well. I was willing to pay someone to take care of the problem. But, they wanted the $$$ and obviously did not have the problem they told me they had. Just a scammer.

Then I just said no to all funding request unless we were actively meeting and I understood their living and financial situation.

Now any internet profiles that exist flat out say that there is no money for internet only contacts, and that financial help is normally reserved for people who I have been meeting with for a while (I still have a profile on a site to assist people - it's not a dating site).

The internet is full of crazies and you can’t take their nonsense personally, block them and move on, they’re not worth your time and energy.

    • That's exactly what I did I blocked her after she kept spamming me with a ton of questions asking why I decided to reject her.

This reminds me of back when I was looking on dating sites for a boyfriend or girlfriend. I noticed that a lot of people on there are rude, lie, act spoiled, and have an unwarranted sense of entitlement. My vote is that it's normal to encounter what you encountered. XD

    • I swear to god some people need to grow up and get a grip on reality and quit being entitled.

It was either I stayed or noped, my instinct told me to take the safest action and nope my way out before she started to spam me with more messages.

It was good that you left. That chick seemed a bit crazy.

Honestly, if I ever find myself single again, I'm probably going to skip the free online sites all together. XD

Oh yeah. OH YEAH. Haha I remember it all too well. I came across women who belittled me for what I did for work etc. it’s really important, that if that method of dating is something that you’re going to pursue, that you remain transitory in nature and don’t let it get to you. I got frustrated sure, but I knew when to step away from it and have a breather, regain myself. It probably helps that I work retail where 88% of people are rude haha. Depending on the level of rudeness and context you can also have some fun with it and turn it into banter, that can be hot actually.
