your husband is right... muscle weighs more than fat but eating is a good point here though.... if you are depriving yourself of food your body goes into starvation mode and then sucks every possible calorie out of food and lowers your metabalism.... eat several small meals a day to keep your metabolic rate up and try getting a scale that measures your bmi to.... normal percentile for women is 18 to 26 body fat... ps good luck
