Is it normal to enjoy watching old public domain films?

I enjoy streaming old public domain films from the 1930s and 1940s. They're free to watch online, and unlike more modern films protected under copyright law, streaming old public domain films is 100% legal, plus they're hard to find anymore on DVD or to buy, so I say "why not?"
