Is it normal to eat pie layer by layer?

So to celebrate Pi day, my math class brought in a few pies to eat. I took a slice of chocolate pie and didn’t just cut a piece off with my fork. Layer by layer, I ate the toppings, the icing, filling, and eventually the crust like a cookie. Good pie actually.

Is It Normal?

    i eat pie starting at the pointy tip and work backward toward the fat edge. at some point gravity pulls the pie back , thats pie librium. then i just pick it up with my fingers and eat it like a cookie.

    Whenever I eat cake I put it in a bowl with milk. Then I stir it up and drink it.
