Is it normal to eat jelly directly out of the package?

I love eating jelly powder directly out of the package. I like made jelly as well, but I'm often too lazy. I will usually save it as last resort though, if I really crave sweets and jelly powder is the only thing available. Does anyone else do this or something similar?

      Yes, they usually call it jelly instead of jello in UK, the poster must be from there. Anyway, I could not just eat gelatin mix plain like that
