Like mentioned before, if you don't pay for it, it's theft whether you get caught or not. Even if you do (have the intention to) pay for it, it's not yours yet and shouldn't be consumed before being bought.
I highly recommend eating before you go to the shops which hopefully stops the craving.
I obviously do not give a shit if the store loses money. Companies are corrupt anyways so I hope they lose business. There is no logical reason I shouldn't do what I can get away with.
