IIN to drink, alone, 12 beers while playing Call of Duty Black ops 3?

  • I don't understand why people drink beer. Chilled apple juice is infinitely better. Moreover, you should be playing GTA V or a modded Skyrim.

    • There are some beers that are quite tasty, you know. Not all of it is like the horse piss Americans are so fond of.

      • What reason have you to be so condescending toward Americans; you're simply stereotyping. Many of us don't drink the eagle piss you imagine--Miller, Patz, Bud. We drink the good beers, Heineken, Guinness, Samuel Adams, etc.
Forgive me if I'm wrong, but are you just looking for an opportunity to dump on Americans and talk about our "poor taste"?

        • I think you actually proved his point when you mentioned your examples of "good beers." Those beers are in fact horse piss. Unless you were being sarcastic, but I don't think you are.

          • Wow, you don't like Guiness?

            • No I don't like Guiness at all. Really low alcohol content. Don't get me wrong, I drink horse piss myself. I had a two year love affair with Hurricane for god's sake. But still, those beers you listed were painfully mainstream. And Heineken was once a good beer, but they got bought out by anheuser busch, who changed the brewing formula, and now it's just skunky piss water. Heineken is the worst one you listed.

        • Why do you think AB is the biggest brewery on earth? Because most Americans DON'T drink the swill they sell?
Come on, reality is reality and not condescension. Most Americans drink cheap, tasteless beer and they do so to get drunk.

          • Last I checked, it's not just Americans who drink for the buzz, people do that all across the board. The Irish, Scots, Germans, and Russians are all famously heavy drinkers.

      • You may call me boring, but I've never really had much alcohol and don't feel the need to do so.
I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything. Some people wind up getting problems from alcohol, whilst I'm sitting there sipping my sweet-ass apple juice.

        • I don't think it's so much the alcohol in a good drink, be it a 15 year old scotch, a fine wine or a good beer. It's about enjoying something you enjoy drinking. They taste good.
I don't know many people who drink a us$160.00 of scotch to get drunk on.

          • Me either, anyone who binge drinks high-quality scotch, like you're describing, either has deep pockets or needs to get his priorities straight.

          • Can't it be both?

I buy expensive liquors all the time and I want to taste them and get drunk off them. Getting drunk off an expensive liquor is a high in itself.
