  • Yes and no.
    1. It's understandable that you're drinking something to soothe your throat, but I think a whole canister isn't healthy.
    2. You're probably in pain from the fat content in the milk. Is your milk organic?
Is it made from cows that are grass-fed?
rbst (I think that's how you spell it) is a growth-hormone. It's extremely dangerous and most commercial dairies give it to their animals. Also, most animals are sadly grain-fed. Grain-fed animals have higher amounts of Omega-6 which isn't good.
Animals are supposed to eat grass things they would find in the wilds. Animals aren't suppose to have grains. What country do you live in? Where does your milk come from? In America everything is grain based and not enough people get Omega-3 in their diet. All this deviates from the Gatherer Diet. Ancient man mostly ate fruits and vegetables, Their animals the same. When grain entered man's diet it started to cause problems, it was balanced with Omega-3. The body has a extremely hard time digesting grains. In places like Asia, grains are balanced out with vegetables, fruits and fish. This is one of the reasons why I'm trying to get as close as I can to the Gatherer Diet.
    3. Do you have to drink cold drinks or can you also drink hot?
Iced tea, Iced Coffee, Juice can be very soothing, but no citrus and make sure it's cold. Apple, Berry and maybe even Grape.
Make sure it's 100% juice and no added sugar! Hot green tea with lemon and honey. Tea and Coffee have allot of benefits. Try making sure it's all natural or you might get more problems than benefits. Fair Trade, Rainforest Alliance, etc.

    • Wow, thanks for the really informative answer. I actually quit drinking milk and started drinking rice milk again. It's made from rice, no dairy at all.
