If you like dressing do it. It is by far more acceptable than when I was young. But the most important part of your experience is that it satisfies, perhaps, a strong urge to be feminine and you accomplish this by wearing pretty clothing. I also cross dress and find it so comforting and enjoyable to experience what it is like to wear a dress. A feeling that some women cannot experience.
