Is it normal to dream paranormal things?

Well, here I go. After being away for like three years.

Yesterday, I had a dream. It's realism has been surprising for me, it isn't normal for dreams to caught me like that. I always get free. I just tend to notice it's a dream so I just kinda push my brain and I'll wake up when it's getting harmful.

But this time, I couldn't. Here is what I dream and believe me, I haven't watched any horror movie in like four months...

I was lying on my bed, I felt like I was being pushed down from the chest on it. The crosses my mom put on top of my bed were upside down and whenever I try to move and correct them back again, I'll wake up and suddenly move to the position I was and try to position the crosses correctly again. This, over and over for almost six hours. Hell, I really suffer all that. I felt like I can't move, I couldn't get free from that.

I'm currently a total atheist. What's it? Should I start doing something about it? What do you recommend?

Btw, sorry if my English isn't even nearly perfect, my native language is the Spanish.

i am muslim and dream a ghost is flirting and touching me all over but i can't move or say anything to him. it has nothing to with religion or lack of religion. you are just dreaming about something that happened to you during your childhood.
