Interesting post. I rarely have dreams with a linear story line, either. It's all very fluid. I might dream of someone or something one second and then turn into that person or thing, for example. There's no fixed viewpoint or identity. (Apparently this symbolizes empathy.) There are certain dreamscapes I keep returning to (like giant, very bleak amethyst mountains) Your dreams sound even more fragmented and very vivid.
Is it normal to dream of things that don't exist?
