Is it normal to dream of the same thing over and over?

i keep having dreams and they switch from one to another often what i am worried about most but lately i have been having dreams and the all end up with a hamster tube throw at my head by my boyfriend as i have failed to catch it when it hits me on the left side of my head i get knocked out and i wake is it normal :')

    One time I dreampt I was a janitor in a mall and Brad Pitt saved me from being killed by the mafia. Then he took off in a car with John Malcovitch. I gotta stop watching movies.

    I keep dreaming about my school mates from elementary school. I guess I miss them. I'm trying to become a lucid dreamer now. So I say it's completely normal
