Is it normal to dream of brutal murders

I strangled my father in one of my dreams. i kinda hate him.

You know that by thinking about it more you're probably making it more likely that you'll keep dreaming it.
BTW I have really messed up dreams too. Doesn't mean I'm evil deep inside!

I went through a period of having dreams like that, and I'm not sure why because I'm such a chicken that I don't even like to watch scary movies.

I wouldn't worry about it too much, and I don't think it makes you a weirdo, even if it's not something that happens to most people.

I don't think I'm weird at all, these things only happen when I'm asleep.
