Sounds like there's a lot of selfishness in this relationship. A level of childishness.
I challenge you to have a discussion where you don't make yourself the center of attention(IOW - Don't use the 'what about me?')
If he wants to go to the local bar, let him. he's responsible for his own actions. If there's someone there you don't want him to see, he should be responsible for his own actions.
There shouldn't be any restrictions on who can go where. It's all about respecting one another.
[ie: Out of respect for my wife, I don't go to the stripclub]
Not that she said, I can't. I just knowshe's not comfortable with it.
They key is...let them be who they are and don't try to have control of their actions. Respect one another and put your insecurities away. This action should be mutual on both sides.
