Few years back, my country started a new education system. In year 8, they have a public examination. Originally, the public examination should talk in year 9 in order to pass and continue to year 10. Now, in year 8 they are taking that examination. If you get flying colours, you get to graduate faster. As in, you able to graduate when you are in year 10. One year faster than others and others who didn't make it in two years program. So the new generation, when they finish high school, they would be 13-15. So yeah, I was in the old system and it's way better than the new one.
