  • Sounds like a survival mechanism you're naturally going through because he's no longer a potential mate for you. Most women can't overcome their thoughts and wait it out for that long. Guys can with logic so he'll probably be more upset.

    But i can understand it. But you should tell him without making him feel shit prolonguing this. Having the woman he loves stop saying she loves him etc over time not knowing whats going on sucks.

    • I'm going to go with this response. PLEASE reconsider not showing him attention as a response to your feelings because let me tell you, from someone who has experienced that kind of treatment, it is the worst thing you can do. Its like saying "I know everything we had was great but in this final hour, I'm going to disrespect the whole thing and make you feel bad by protecting my feelings and making it easier on myself." Just be honest with the guy on how you feel as soon as possible, upfront and kind about it. He'll be sad but he'll appreciate your honesty even more down the road, I promise.
