Is it normal to dislike the country your in?

I was born in America and for a very long time (since i was 4) i've hated where i live. Not just the state i mean the whole country. i've always hated America and begged my mom and dad, when i was little, to take me over seas and live there. I always say "When i get older i'm getting the hell out of here" but i haven't yet and i'm still dying to leave. its normal right?

      yeah but this summer hasn't been all that great, i've only been able to swim in the pool 5 times because of all the rain ): but i guess it depends where you are in canada

    I hate america. Tests I have taken say that I would fit in well with all the crazy people who live in mexico or that I should be in england having high tea with the British queen.

    Im American too; its not the best and not the worst, Id rather live in Sweden or Norway but those damned languages are freaking impossible to learn.

          You'll love it in Europe, maybe try England. I hear the jihadists have settled in quite comfortably. Who really wants freedom of speech anyway? It's overrated.
          If you're female you can get a nice new burqa! Very fashionable in black.
          Don't take your freedom for granted. To get more govt handouts you have to sacrifice control of your life. You don't like it here, how will you like your life being controlled?

            Who says my life will be controlled? Europe (northern Europe at least) is a pretty advanced continent society wise and technology wise. Don't hate just because you think I'm taking my freedom for granted. I don't. I cherish the fact that I have the freedom to do what I want. Which includes the freedom to leave this country.

              Our pres. Is doing a number on us . Go ahead and stay were pretty much a socialist nation now anyway. Wait until some of the handouts are curbed here because we can't afford it- we''ll have the same rioting in our streets like Greece. It'll be FAIR than- we'll all be poor dependent on the govt (Utopia?)

    If you hate America then you are just incapable of observing how diverse this country is. Yeah, the part of the country you live in might blow, but there are so many different walks of live you don't even know about. Open your mind, read about places you haven't heard of.

    Come to Russia. there many forests here. and much snow. but u can try and swim in some pool at least once in summer)). besides, it's quite far away from the US. and it's a great country. a very rich one. i've lived here for all my life. and u know what? I HATE IT.
