Oh and yes, I have felt spirits before, unfortunately, it must have been soon after death, because it was very angry and confused. Still though, anyone can do it if they believe and try. So if your question is, is it strange/ wrong, then no, it's not =)
And to be honest, I think people who don't believe should just say so, and be pleasent. There's no need for some of the things said, and I found some quite offensive. You'd never say those things about Jewdaism or any other religion. Please, just be civil.
