Is it normal to despise stupid people?

Like everyone but my mother who I despise, I despise stupid people, I even despise anti-intellectuals, also anyone including family who chooses not to be intelligent or has dumbed themselves down, it's disgusting, as a result I hate my grandmother, I tried to love her but I can't, stupidity disgusts me, it makes me want to vomit, even disability, anyone who's afficted with stupidity, idiocy, or retardation, disgusts me, I despise those people, like I despise men, and I put my vengeance upon them. Everywhere I go in Australia I'm seeing stupid people, who I despise, I look down on them as worthless, inferior and negligible (unimportant). I even hate the way they laugh, their voices, the way they look, as I'm fancy, exquisite, etc, and I think anti-intelletualism is in bad taste, oh yeah, I'm disgusted at and even despise stupid people in the cartoons, in fiction and in comedy. What I want is a tasteful, intelligent comedy like 'Frasier'. The way people are stupid I don't even want to talk to them, I despise Christianity and all the idiots who follow it. The problem with my grandmother is that she lacks understanding, and I'm angry, my grandmother disgusts me, she's literally unintelligent. I know and understand a lot of things, I'm educated and it's hard to have a conversation with people because they call me stupid despite my understanding and education and I'm disgusted at that, angry, upset, and despise it, is that normal?

  • This isn't normal. It's narrowminded and very vane. I think you need to get a grip and stop thinking you're so much better than anyone else. Loving yourself is good, but loving yourself so much that everyone else is inferior? That's just shit-headedness.

Yes, I must be better despite never making that claim! Ha ha! That's cute! One of the men I despise is Ken and any average person, e.g. I say "how's it going?" and they say " all right", it's mediocrity, it's average! I never see anyone saying "feeling terrific!", people don't want to be too good and that's just sad, which proves that idiots are subnormal or average, mediocre, very average! And I even despise average people!

  • Saying that means you can do everything, and do everything to a great quality... I find that very hard to believe!

See a mechanic whom you might find repulsive, grease monkey, uneducated (whatever) might see you as ""dumb, because you can not change a timing chain. To them its a simple thing, but you would have no clue. Does this then make you dumb?

You might be great at maths, but could not build a house frame to save your life! are you then dumber then a carpenter?

You might be grate with spelling and grammar but could not invent a story anyone would be interested in. Does this make you less intelligent then the worst writer that at least sold one book?

You will find that you are not more intelligent then others. You have a sick entitled way of thinking, which I think you are suffering from mental illness (I know you think disabled people are worthless) But what it is, is everyone has different talents. And with an attitude like yours you won't succeed in life. Your ignorance is less then, and it makes you not intelligent at all!

No it's not normal! But I guess a person as smart as you would not need to ask on this site. So what are you really doing? Attention seeking, bragging or maybe releasing something. Grow up, stop trying so hard to memorise something you read from a book and vomit it back at people like it's your original thought.

Enough of this bullshit! I don't have a mental illness, my mind is very right, it solves problems. If I ask if you're doing something clever and you say "no", then goodbye! I don't need stupid people, that's why I hate you. I once slept in the toilet in the middle of Salisbury, does that make it a mental illness? No it doesn't, doctors set me free and let me do what I want, it's not up to you to decide I have a mental illness, or that I need therapy, the doctor doesn't see anything wrong with me, I'm therefore clinically sane, bozo!

  • Admittedly, I find stupid behavior frustrating, but it's arrogant, ignorant and flawed to discount people on lack of intellectual prowess since intelligence is largely innate. Worth noting, acting stupid does not necessarily mean the actor IS truly stupid.

Also, bear in mind there are different types of intelligence. E.g., emotional intelligence (EQ), which is often misunderstood, or overlooked entirely, yet I would argue it is even more important than general intelligence. Unlike IQ, EQ can be drastically improved, and is teachable to practically anyone, even simpletons, to some degree.

After again reading the explanation accompanying your question, I feel a tinge of irritation that you have the audacity to judge others so harshly. Ever heard of sentence structure, or paragraph breaks? You say you're educated yet I see few signs of this in your ranting or writing.

  • You're so fancy, we already know! You're in the bedlams, from LA to Tokyo.

You hate their voices and the way they laugh because it's not fancy? Determining what's fancy is just a cultural opinion. The way you talk and behave is just fancy because you come from this time in history, any other point in time and you might be looked on as a hick.

I admit fanciness is addictive, but in my life experiment I've come to realise what's more interesting/exciting: adventurousness. And now that I'm back to Roman Stoicism (another experiment of trying on different religions for size to see which one is right for me), ditto. And yes I still despise stupidity and its voice/laughter, the sound of it disgusts me, and I even reject a person because they're stupid. I'll hate my mother next if she's the slightest bit stupid/anti-intellectual/dumbed down, the word 'down' I despise, I prefer the word 'up', as in 'smarten up' and 'put ups, not put downs'. Adults are always wanting things down, it's a negative attitude, rather than the positive up, another reason I hate stupidity with a passion.

That's the problem with pro-theistic religions: the delusion that there's God, when man made God, not the other way around, my religion favours intelligence and doesn't banish stupid things.
