Yes, but that doesn't mean he assimilates.. A lot of american born Jews, although hardworking, prefer to remain with their sects and don't really let the out in, so to speak. It's a similar scenario with Muslims, except instead of conflict with whether or not they accept outside people to their communities, it's a conflict with cultural and societal values.

Some of them do though. One of my father's colleagues was a Muslim man. He was just as hard-working and law abiding as anyone.
