Is it normal, to desire to upload a photo of yourself?

I uploaded my pic, but I also don't really care if people I know in real life recognize me on here. Everyone already knows I'm a weirdo.
I wouldn't recommend it if you want to be anonymous though.

Why not? I done it a long time ago and have put many pictures as my profile picture from time to time, have one up now, too.

Even if you don't mind people recognizing you, there are awful people who can track and find you by your photograph. I had a scary experience like that.

I've thought of doing that a few times, but I wind up chickening out and just using pics of my old dog. Besides, I usually don't smile in photos anyway because of my spaced teeth.
