I personally feel a man attracted to someone so much younger might have tendencies of control. I I also would question what you both have in common, because it will not be life experiences.
And last but not least, I agree with the others who wondered at a father who finds it rather easy to turn his back on his children whom he has a history with. He has little history with you....
