  • If you plan on a twenty year relationship it might get complicated at some point. If you want to have children he might not have the energy for them. Why are you dating him? Love? I couldn't speak out against love.
    Just if you were dating him for the money you'd be wasting some great years.

    • All relationships might get complicated. And more and more young people are opting not to have kids according to US census data. I don't plan to have kids, and it's not just because I'm in school still. Maybe I'd be the problem for an older guy who's still able/wants to have kids.

      And what about the protective interests of the older person? The problem with a young girl dating an older man for money is ... the young girl "wasting some great years?" I'd say the problem with that scenario is one person using another person--regardless who's using who. If a 20-something year old girl dates a 20-something year old guy for money, she's a leech. Same if the guy's in his 60s and doesn't explicitly consent to the arrangement.
