Ok im a 23 year old male and live in a small town in West Virginia. I have had some bad luck with women in the past but then i met a special girl who is 22. We go out on a few dates and it goes well. I try to ask her some ques about her old relationships but she would always change the subject. Finally i got her to talk about it and she tells me she has been in 3 long relationships before. Come to find out they have all been with other girls, and she tells me that i am the first guy that she has ever been on a date with. Ive never dated a girl that can be described as bi and its some thing ive thought about hard. The only concern i have is what will my parents think about her. We are all against the gay and lesbian thing but there is just something about her i like but i dont want to make my parents mad. Any suggestions out there.

    Have you considered that she may just be Bi?

    If you like her, try to get over your the homophobia which has (prssumably) been indoctrined into you. I wouldn't bring it up with your parents yet, though.

    Not sure how I feel on the gay thing but I think lesbianism is cool. There was a girl no two girls in my class that were bi and until I found out I couldn't tell the difference. I actually got ALOT more attracted to them. So basically if I was you I would embrace that but you have to make your own decisions

    You definitely need to get past your homophobia if you're going to be with her. I wouldn't worry about your parents. Don't bring it up with them. If she wants them to know, she can tell them, but you should probably warn her that they're closed minded about it.

    Don't introduce the idea to your parents until they know her well and like her, though if they don't like her anyway there's nothing to lose. Also you're 23, they can't exactly tell you to stop seeing her, though I suppose they could kick you out if you live with them.
