Is it normal to cut your own hair?

I always cut my own hair. I hate it less than when I go to the stylist. There they do whatever they want with your hair.

There was this guy in middle school, who had this hair cut. Everyone used to call him mushroomhead, I called him cole, and I had this biggest crush on this guy. We were lab buddies, so the chemistry was very present.

I like to do it on my own, and well, I'm not amazing at it, but I don't make it look like I got a haircut by a weedwhacker.

I've got fairly prominent ears, so I don't think I'd like how I look with a shaved head which is the only think I think I could competently do for myself at the moment. I would like to have a hairstyle I can do myself easily, though. Being able to cut your own hair is a good practical skill.

I have always done my own hair. The one time I went to a salon was a huge mistake. I only went because my mother wouldn't shut the fuck up about it. After the hideous results that were nothing close to what I asked for, mumsy never pestered me about my hair again. She only wanted to do something nice but still, I do my own damn hair thank youuu!!!!

Now that my hair is grown out, to my waist, I cut it myself - just trimming the ends occasionally. My hair is really thick/abundant and it costs a lot to get a cut at a salon. I could afford it, but I don't want to.

I cut my own hair. It is quick, easy and free. I tie my hair into a pony tail at the top of my forehead and then trim a little off the ends. I have long curly hair so it is pretty hard to see any uneven bits, which I use to my advantage :D
