Is it normal to cut off my cuticles?

I hate having cuticles on my nails, as I think that it looks better without them. I cut them off when then grow back, does anyone else do this? Is this normal?

    It can lead to infection but it's up to you ESP if you donut right

    Wow, I had to go google and see what a cuticle is, lol... Can't say that I've ever bothered cutting em

    Very normal. I do it myself weekly with a cuticle scissor. I know a lot of people go to the salon to have it done.

    Yes, I do it all the time, but surely that's what cuticle scissors are for? I like the way it makes your fingernails look longer and neater. I also find it quite absorbing, as it needs to be done with precision to avoid cutting yourself.
