Is it normal to cry because of these things?
For a long time now I have been a really sensitive person. I mean I cry at the normal things: weddings, funerals, and sad movies. But there have been times in my life where I could not stop crying at the most random things.
Once, I was 13 or 14, I was walking through the living room and a Christmas parade was on, Disney's I think. I started to cry and had to walk out of the room to stop. A few minutes later I walked back into the room and started to watch the parade again but had to turn the station because I could not stop crying.
The next time this happened I was at a world culture fair and I was watching an Indian dance group. These two Indian women started to dance and I started crying, sobbing more like it. My friend looked at me like I was a weirdo. I wanted to leave to go to the restroom but I didn't want anyone to ask what was wrong.
Since time has passed it has not improved. I cry with practically anything to do with the military even though I don't have really close connections to it. I cry at most parades. I cried when I went to a live play when the opening music started. And recently I cried when I saw Shamu... The whole show. I also cry when I see women's self defense stuff. I cry with patriotic events, it doesn't have to be American. I watched the Eurovision Contest and cried when it showed all the different countries cheering for the event. I cry if some one can sing well or is really talented at playing an instrument.
Basically there are a lot of triggers to me crying. No I don't cry every day. My question is it normal to cry this much or because of these things?
