Is it normal to cry after displicling a kid?

I yelled at a kid for slamming doors, and throwing things, and she threw a temper tantrum and cried for her mother. I feel horrible.

Is It Normal?

    No I don't think you did anything wrong by yelling at him/her for doing rude things. Its not wrong to discipline the kids at a young age when they need to be disciplined. Dont feel awful, both of you will feel better in sometime.

    my cousins' dad (I guess technically my uncle) would sometimes cry after beating them. but then he'd do it again and again and again. he's an asshole.
