At home because you just enjoy the clothing, enjoy yourself. I'm clothing optional or nudist at home. Most friends know to call before they arrive or they accept the style. The only opinions you really need to worry about are those you live with. Then it's as previously stated depends on what you value most.
In public, to me is a little different. Especially if you are trying to trick or fool people. Using public facilities, getting special treatment, jobs, even picking up sexual partners.
I see this as no different than lying or cheating. Putting F on an application, claiming different race or ethnic bavkground, all to gain an advantage is wrong even if you can pull it off.
