Is it normal to cringe when you wear socks?

It happens to me sometimes. I wear my socks with my vans and after a while they start to kind of, squeak against the bottom inside of the shoe. It doesn't happen with wool socks, though. It's like nails on a chalk board for me. I hate it? Does anyone else have this problem?

    I get that when I'm wearing thin socks. It's the most annoying sound and I can't stand it.
