Is it normal to crave sex and be a virgin

Ok, Well I'm 18, a guy and a virgin. I have had opportunities to have sex i'n my life but I chose not to. they just weren't the right girl. just about every night I lay in my bed and crave sex. it sounds crazy because iv never had sex before, but I crave everything about it as if I have experienced it before. I crave the feeling, I crave the clossness and the warmth of someone's body pressed up against mine. I just want to know if this is normal. should I have these intense feelings eventhough I'm a virgin. it would make more sense if I have had sex before.
