We were talking about food at work and it came up that I cook my bacon in the microwave. Well, everybody began to say "you what?!" acting like it was the strangest thing in the world.
Literally nobody else that I work with cooks their bacon in the microwave, and I'm just wondering how much of an outcast I am for doing so.
Meh, I use the microwave for bacon if someone else is using the stove. Normal.
Use the toaster oven for bacon. Microwaves are best used exclusively for cooking ketamine.
No it is very disrespectful to the bacon and to yourself to do that. Just put it on a sheet pan in a 400°f oven for 15-20 minutes.
When I used to eat bacon I had a special microwave dish that had grooves in it to catch the bacon grease. It was better than frying in a pan and have it lay in the grease. I used to put the bacon on paper towel to soak up the grease. That was before I got the bacon microwave dish.
I cook everything in the microwave. I have also cooked bacon in the microwave.
I used the microwave a lot, until I read about the danger of microwaving. Now I hardly use it.
Ive never heard of anyone doing that, but I cook eggs in the microwave sometimes. If it works for you and you think it tastes good, I dont see a problem.
I do it too, I put a bowl on a plate and hang the bacon over the sides of the bowl so the fat drains off
They sell precooked microwave bacon so no I don't think you are that weird. I do it also when im too lazy to cook.
I like cooking spinach in the microwave for like one minute, and then *poof* it's done!
