Is it normal to completely ignore cuts on your fingers?

I work construction and often cut my fingers. To keep the blood from getting all over building materials and equipment, I wrap a paper towel around my finger with duct tape and continue working. Last week I lost my middle finger and simply dipped the stub in molten iron to cauterize the wound. I also went blind in one eye when a coworker thought it'd be a good idea to nail gun a window. No big deal.

You had me until "I lost my middle finger and simply dipped the stub in molten iron" and that going blind due to coworker carelessness is "no big deal". You can not be this forgiving and uncaring about your well being.

Yep totally normal. I lost my thumb yesterday but I just grabbed a bottle of superglue and put it back. No big deal!

Yeah when I do hard labor I never use gloves. It's nice to be able to feel with your hands you can work better and the added benefit is your hands get really rough.

See this believable till the finger part. And I don't want to hear any bullshit from this. My dad a tough man has gotten run over and goes right back to work etc no problem. But he actually got the tips of his fingers cut off once. Wana know what he did? He went to the hospital cause that shit is serious.
